I've Got One Night In Memphis. Need Suggestions.

I will be spending most of a day and a night in Memphis soon. I want to make the most of it and need some info on where to go. I am looking for craft beer, good food, and live music. I would like to find a smaller place or two to spend the evening. No touristy places or chains. Or maybe just a suggestion on a cool part of the city we can walk and discover these kinds of places on our own.

Stayed in Memphis for 2 nights and heard multiple gunshots every night.

Even saw some 'urban youths' working at a carwash across the street harass a white girl as she walked past at night.

Memphis is safe! Well when I went, I wasn't impressed with their hoods and violence, it was quiet actually

anyways, if you want to stay on the nice side go to Germantown and when you're there go eat BBQ at The Commissary

oh and of course Beal Street for beer and music
