This assumes he wins the first one. A second loss/win doesn't change the third.

-Edgar at ufc 200.
-LW title fight.
-McGregor/Aldo 2
 
Will lose Vs Edgar
Move up
Couple "easy fights" Vs "Big name" @155lbs
ex, Duffy rematch
Title shot @155lbs -_-'
 
If Conor loses to Frankie, he could end up fighting Cub Swanson, Ricardo Lamas, or something for all you know.
 
Hmm i dont think ufc will put him against frankie, im not a frankie fan, would love to see him ktfo, but i think hes a favorite against mcG. If he loses to frankie, mcGs drawing power will fade badly.

Plus, Aldo im sure has an instant rematch clause, so hell be getting the next shot at mcG. After Aldo, most likely frankie. If he cleans the division, then he may be looking at LW.
 
Edgar is a terrible matchup for him, so I wouldn't count on McGregor getting a LW title shot after UFC 200 if it does end up being Edgar.

then battling depression trying to figure what to do next

If Aldo isn't ready for UFC 200 there is no doubt Edgar gets the shot and even if Aldo is ready I won't doubt it if they go to with Edgar.

He's not going back to 145 after Edgar, regardless.
If he beats Edgar, definite 155 title shot.
Probably Cerrone after that, if he maintains his usual patterns.
 
RDA'S injury really messes up the timing for Conor's ambition. RDA would have to sit idle until the end of the year. He could be fighting the winner of Ferguson/Nurmagomedov instead.
 
I'd go with these options:

FW: Edgar > Loss > LW: Duffy > Win > LW: RDA
FW: Edgar > Loss > LW: Duffy > Loss > LW: Sanchez
FW: Edgar > Win > LW: RDA > Loss > LW: Duffy
FW: Edgar > Win > LW: RDA > Win > LW: Khabib/Ferguson or Alvarez

He beats edgar.....edgar and hughes share a weakness....they are vulnerable to the early finish. They are slow starters.

Maynard should have won the first fight on points.....maynard should have won the second fight by pouncing on a hurt edgar early.....

Mcgregor has excellent killer instinct.....when he hurts frankie early, he will finish him early.....round 1.....within 4 minutes.....

If Frankie doesn't bounce into that left, he doesn't lose to Conor. Frankie is so fucking good. That's not to say Conor isn't great but man Frankie was actually beating guys much bigger than him without people using size as an excuse. True legend.

he had history with both, but more with Swanson, both fight sells good.
