When I was a young child, around Christmas time there was a Louis Theroux (I think it was) documentary about the mafia/cartels/something along those lines. I was watching it all happily, until suddenly it cut without warning to a flurry of pictures of the gang leader Louis was interviewing holding the decapitated heads of victims and rival gang members.

This was only about 9 pm, come on BBC what the fuck were you thinking?!?!?!?!

After I had my bed time story (Fantastic Mr. Fox) read to me and was told it was time to go to bed, I was so scared that I physically couldn't speak and just sat there with this kind of facial expression

It took me a long time to get over that...

I saw one of those goosebumps tv shows about the ventriloquist doll that wouldn't die, had nightmares for weeks

walking in on my parents. i still have nightmares

I was in the backseat of the car during a rainy night when my mom lost control and crashed into a tree, everyone was Ok, but damn, that scared me. Now I believe I'm a below average driver because of this.

Fell out of a boat and drowned at 4, if not for someone on the boat knowing CPR I would've been a goner. Had nightmares about drowning for like 10 years.

I just saw clowns. Fck this thread.

That's horrifying!

What did it feel like? What were the last moments like before you passed out? (Not to try and bring up past demons haha, I'm genuinely curious).

nothing really, but when i was in about 4th grade my grandmother started puking up blood. she had an ulcer in her stomach. it was pretty scary. i remember it like it was yesterday

Something that gave me fucking nightmares for a while was that episode of Johnny Quest with the mummy I saw when I was like 5.

Im sure most people agree with me about Chucky and Exorcist
Yes on the Exorcist, but Chucky didn't bother me.

Also, I saw the original Last House on the Left when I was 10. Rough stuff at the time.
