But give him one more FUN fight before he does. Wonderboy beats condit then he can take out lawler. If he loses then give condit the rematch (in which he won the first).

I think Thompson deserves the shot, but either way, with Lawler, Thompson, Condit, McDonald, and Woodley at the top of the division, the next year should be fun times at WW. Injuries permitting, of course.

How so? It would primarily be a stand-up fight, which would favour Thompson. If Thompson has shown any weakness in the past, it would be in the grappling department. I don't think Condit is good enough to exploit that weakness and he would be at a disadvantage on the feet. The fight would be interesting, but as others have said, Thompson deserves the next title shot.
