It's spelled Nunberg, not Nothingburger (Trump Organization Subpoenaed): Investigation v.15

Interesting that Giuliani makes another appearance in the equation. So, his lawyers advised CA that their activities could violate US law and they said, "don't give a fuck." That helps explain this:

"It’s surprising that Rudy Giuliani has been out of the news lately, given that, as recently as November 7, Donald Trump was planning on offering him a cabinet position.

A little over a month later, the president-elect ruled out Giuliani having any role in his administration whatsoever."

"So it’s reasonable to ask whether anything about Giuliani’s role in the Trump campaign might have caused Trump some concerns. Specifically, the operative question is whether there was anything damaging that might have come up had Giuliani been put under oath during his Senate confirmation hearings."

The article is more about how some FBI agents cooperated with Giuliani to fuck over Comey and to inappropriately influence the election, but it seems like there was more than that Giuliani could have said under oath to trouble the manila gorilla.

I’ve said since the beginning that Roger Stone is the linchpin that ties all this together

Seems like a step even a lawyer who would work for Trump would be reluctant to take.

Which begs the question...

Why did he tweet about it?

That or just torpedoes his chances at future clients.

Why would anyone trust you after this?

I imagine he's trying to distance himself from consequences of statements attributed to him.

Yeah, he's 77 or so. Not being charged by Robert Mueller for Obstruction of Justice is more important than the rest of his legal career.

Yes, it seems like he’s decided if he’s got to have a change of career, he doesn’t want it to be license plate manufacturing, but even at that, I can only imagine there’s some loophole such that this statement doesn’t apply. It’s so fundamental, it just doesn’t sound “lawyer-y”.

Why on earth would he even open his mouth about that?!

My guess is that he is old, rich and hates the guts of Trump and wants to bring him down.

Not to mention potentially saving his own skin.

Rudy Guilianis law firm sent a letter to their client Cambridge Analytica that they were violating FEC laws:

Wait.

You mean to tell me that the only laws purportedly being broken are Federal Election Commission laws? Lol....so the only thing that will come from this is a big, giant slap on the wrist in the form of civil fines. Seems like when this is all said and done Trump will remain president and the Democrats will have spent years exhausting themselves for basically nothing. In turn they'll likely work on their own data analytics team for the 2020 election.

This country is so fucked up. The use of such private data to manipulate individuals should be banned from all advertisements, let alone elections, but that's not what the message will become. It will remain that the big spooky Russians hacked Americas elections and Steve Bannon harvested Facebook data to trick Americans into voting for Donald Trump. And data analytics will become a necessary and routine way to campaign from now into the future.
