The shock I think is more so he was given a piece of paper telling him not to congratulate Putin from his Nat Sec team and did it anyway

Nobody's shocked that he did it, there was no surprise to be had...
It's just hard to believe that it was an all caps warning he ignored in the worst possible political climate to do so.
That was the shock value of the leak, and it was meant to upset the fatty.

Seems like you misunderstood. I was saying they're probably too stupid to successfully cover their tracks so they ought to be caught. If they were smarter it might be a lot harder.

I think that it's a combination of Kompromat (freaky sex stuff caught on tape) and a threat to not invest in any of Pres. Trumps' property holdings.

But I'm just spit-balling...

Let me repeat that. Since nobody would lend the president of the United States money, he got money from Deutschebank, which is involved with Russian oligarchs. I think he's got thumbs in Russian pies.
