Even in survival mode he shouldnt have been able to lose that position so goddamn easily...

Nate pretty much just pushed Conors neck and swept him.

people should roll with a guy like nate and see how 'easy' it is getting passed

He was rocked and gassed and was grappling with a BJJ beast.

You have never taken a punch in the face have you TS?

He wanted to tap rather than get KOed. Its pretty simple.

He was gassed and rocked badly, Vitor Belfort a legit BJJ black belt looked like shit on the ground when he gassed himself out against Weidman. Weidman mounted him with ease.

I'm sure you would have done better, chief.

I dont know. When your hurt your hurt.He was mentioning energy etc but i seen him get stunned on the feet and then wilt to be honest. If i remember the ground sequence correctly,he dove on a takedown and it ended in half guy with nate grabbing a neck and him trying to roll out of it similar to chad fight but ending up mounted were he gave his back

Rock badly standing, Diaz landed some more big GnP then hooked up the RNC very quickly.

We saw in the first Conor obviously isn't clueless on the ground and I think a much bigger negative for him in this match was the way his standup defence was exposed.

Nate grabbed & twisted Conors neck and conor just flopped. Conor was pretty much on side mount yet he didnt push his weight into Nate.

Diaz didnt land any GNP before the sweep.. Conor took him down, was almost in side mount and Nate just swept him with a RNC

Two things:
- Conor was being KTFO in the standup, he was probably half out
- Conor's mat game is weak at best, and he had in front a legit, solid black belt. You see how much Nate was in control when he wraps his legs to immobilize Conor, put his right arm around Conor's head and tags him with a brutal left just to put him in the right position, and went for the lock. All was quick, smooth and effective.
So, that's what happens when you spent countless hours rolling on the mat learning the moves.

What as really surprising for me was Conor's chin. Nate is not the heavier of hitters, and he was walking to KO Conor. Probably he expected that Nate would crumble after one left hand, but beyond the cut Nate was never rocked (not that I could perceive, at least). One minute into the second round and it was clear that unless a miracle happens, Conor was doomed. Which make me thinks if he has the oxygen and the chin to trade with powerful LWs.

He was already gassed on the feet which = mentally and physically deteriating rapidly.

Look at the sequence , he just got tagged , shot for the desperation takedown with no real follow though and explosion, was stuff, got his neck snatched up quickly.

He had nothing left and was just running on instinct which doesn't include a stellar ground game!

This was adversity and unfortunately what he did wasn't good enough. He will have to adjust his game. He's got some tough fights and people are analyzing his game.

Yeah you're right, it's Conor's fault he lost. It has nothing to do with Nate's superior ground fame which he has showcased several times in the ufc...

Conor got caught in a guillotene when he went for the TD, he defended it very well then just found himself in a bad position that he obviosuly wasn't strong in. Nate did very well to take McGregor's back in the scramble after the guillotine attempt was defended.

I'm saying Conor has retarded ground game knowledge
He defended and rolled out of a Diaz guillotine, he hit a switch on Nate in the first round and gained top positions, he also was able to posture up against Nate and land some very big shots on the ground...all against a gracie trained BJJ black belt. You know nothing.

Nate was on his ass rag dolling him like a wolf the second he hit the ground. once mounted he was teeing off him in full mount. It would have been a KO/TKO. Conor was doomed because Nate was still fresh despite the short camp.

Look at when the come out for the round, Nate is not ever breathing heavy while Conor is clearly showing signs of being drained.

Just the fact that he got caught in a guillotine from open half-guard is retarded. It wasnt Conor rolling out, more like Nate swept him like he was a dummy. Stop nuthugging.
