As I said in another thread...As someone who dislikes Ronda Rousey A LOT. She is the best fighter in the division. Have to agree with the TS here. Tate doesn't have the ground game as Rousey has and she beat holm, now Im not doing the MMA math thing either, making a simple point that Ronda lost to Holly because she wanted to prove she could out strike her.....OUT STRIKE a world class boxer like Holm. It was like giving candy to a baby. It proved to be an awful game plan.

Yes Ronda tried taking Holly down and failed...though, that wasn't a fresh off the line Ronda. Ronda had been punched in the face a few good times before that. I feel a Ronda Rousey who now has been humbled that takes her time rather than rushing forward can and will beat Holm in a rematch. I cringe having to say that but its true.

RR beats her in a rematch. Holm came with a perfect game plan the first fight and RR fought like a complete idiot and tried to out strike her. I'm a rematch there is no way she can keep the fight standing as she wasn't even able to the first fight and luckily escaped the armbar.

As long as good morning America k1 RR doesn't show up again RR should easily take the rematch.

That's ridiculous. RR has 6 top 10 first round finishes compared to Holms 1 top 10 win. Does the resume against the rest of the division mean nothing?

Holm lost her last fight via finish just like RR but RR has a for superior resume. When was the last time anyone champ lost a round 10-8 then got finished like Holm?

Tate is the same fighter she has always been. I haven't seen any improvements in her game that would make me think she would fair any better against RR. She hasn't improved in striking and she isn't a better grappler than RR.

Seeing as Tate messed Holm up bad with one TD and choked her unconscious with the second, it's safe to say that had Ronda gotten Holly to the ground for a good chunk of time she would have ended it.

I'd like to see her avenge that one loss before getting another crack at the title. It would require some patience, which was never her strong suit, but I'm confident she'll learn from her mistakes and get her belt back.

Right now you'd have to say that Holm is a better fighter than Ronda. Fedor has a better resume than any HW going around currently and he wouldn't be close to a top 10 HW in the world right now.

Holm hasn't exactly looked unbeatable in her UFC career. If Tate can can prevent getting destroyed striking by not being an idiot like RR IN THE first fight in a rematch RR who is a better striker than Tate surely can.

Yes she can. The history of sport is littered with all-time-greats who lost to more mediocre competitors because of style issues or particular circumstances. Now that Holly has also lost, we're dealing with three woman who were all beaten by one of the others. Ronda beat Miesha who beat Holly who beat Ronda. So in those circumstances, it's a no-brainer to look at the rest of their records. And Ronda's is the best - by a mile.
