The events in Vegas are becoming much more like big boxing events or the Super Bowl. They aren't for the big fans of the sport, they are for spectacle, they are for celebs and other fighters to be seen. It's a social thing for the wealthy. They aren't going to be there for the undercard but they will be there for the camera and the main event.

Yep, until we get to Holm, this isnt even fight pass main card event material. Latifi before the co main???!! Corey Anderson??? UFC definitely tapped into the hope that people would buy card simply because of Conor and drastically watered down his card, opposed to tacking it like they did 178, Boston, 189 and 194. Plus, the Irish only support their own. UFC has, in the past, put Conor's mates on the card but didn't do that this time. They skimped hardcore, prolly owing to the fact Conor's pay is greater than the rest of the entire card.

extremely odd that the ufc didn't throw a couple prospects on the main card to get some extra eyes on them
