Why not? Other professional sports have been competing in the Olympics for decades.Seriously bad idea. I don't want to see top guys beating up amateurs.
Strange that you think that, when the top guys in other sports, namely the NBA have been doing it for over 20 years.Lol. The top guys won't fight each other unless they are getting paid the real money.
Yeah but who watches. We all know the top ball players are American.Strange that you think that, when the top guys in other sports, namely the NBA have been doing it for over 20 years.

I follow the nba and have never watched a game at the Olympics. Because it means squat.Who watches? When the NBA stars like Shaq, Kobe, Lebron, Jordan etc. donned the Olympic gear, it was like watching the All Star games. If you don't follow the NBA, I find it strange you'd ask that question.

NBA doesn't involve taking punches to the face.Strange that you think that, when the top guys in other sports, namely the NBA have been doing it for over 20 years.
I actually like this. I think it will be good for the sport to have guys in the Olympics who have name recognition.
The olympics should be the best in the world at a given sport, not the youngest/best who have not yet decided to make money (or are not good enough to make money).
Athletes should not have to decide between making a living and representing their country.
I agree.
Plus some countries have much deeper ammy programs then ours. So there are some grown ass men with 300+ fights, fighting not even 18 year olds with a fraction of the fights, fighting for our country.

Exactly. Are we going to pretend Lomachenko was not a grown man and seasoned pro-caliber boxer? Maybe if other guys of his caliber stayed in the ammies instead of going pro he would have had more competition.
I actually cannot think of a single reason why allowing professionals in the olympics is a bad thing.
