It's official. I'm now a casual

Rob is probably happy it makes his own ass whooping look slightly less bad. If his chin literally didn’t snap in half he’d have got a 5 round humping too

It wasnt very exciting and I wouldnt want every MMA fight to be like that, but at the same time that variety, the stylistic match ups, the rock, paper, scissors element, seeing a striker get shut down by a wrestler etc etc is what makes MMA more interesting and deep than other combat sports.

Also, do we want MMA to be a "legit sport" or not? because in most legit sports the emphasis is on the result, how entertaining the game was is a distant second. A team dominating another team the way Khamzat dominated Driccus would typically be appreciated.

Rob & other Khamzat fans who are defending that hugfest better keep up that same energy when other huggers like Gamrot or Mosvar do that in their next fights

You repeated the same messages 2-3 times, in different threads, are you fine ?

If Movsar or Gamrot are able to have that same domination against Volkanovki or Topuria, I would respect it.

being a casual is not an insult. Being the opposite is the insult.
if you take time out of your day to post on an MMA forum, sorry to say you are not a casual. For the people who have been watching this sport for many years but found the fight boring, it's an intelligence issue.

Those little tickles from crucifix were the most pathetic punches I have seen landed in an MMA fight since Russow's hammerfist of doom.

I will happily claim my casual status if the alternative is pretending I enjoyed watching that fight.

Known Gamrot and Movsar hater Rob, right.

I'm not going to pretend like it was a spectacularly entertaining fight

But acting like that wasn't an absolutely dominant win, or like the "boringness" is somehow more important than the fact that Khamzat completely shut out DDP, is pretty casual
