It's hard to imagine Gegard Moussasi once submitted Mark Hunt

Not really considering that Gegard is great on the ground and Hunt didn't have the best ground game at the time.

Too bad UFC never has open weightclass fights

I said this a few weeks back, I honestly don't think people understand how good Gegard is on his day.

He needs to step it up in the UFC though. He's been lackluster since his arrival, needs to start putting some guys away now.

That was the no-bjj-defense Mark Hunt. Abu-Dabi Hunt is a whole new animal.

But yeah, that would be called a freakshow if it happened on Bellator nowadays.

Mousasi is a talented grappler and Hunt was totally out of shape.

I'm more appalled by the McCorkle loss to be honest, Hunt was in good shape for that fight.

That was in the opening round of the super-hulk tournament. A tournament designed to be full of freakshow.

It's not as if Mousasi was a low IQ fighter. He stopped more than Hunt in DREAM.

Ya that loss makes zero sense. I'm also surprised they didn't cut him after that since they didn't want to bring him over to begin with. It's a good thing hw had like 12 fighters at the time.

It's hard to imagine Gegard got armbar red by Akihiro Gono

Wow. Never saw that one.

Did Mousasi knock Hunt down or did Hunt fall back attempting to avoid the punch?

I know, it's like it took place in this weird alternate universe where Gegard Mousasi is a really good grappler and Mark Hunt didn't have good submission defense.
