I would say Weidman, but only because of that leg break. Unlike Luke, he faced a devastating injury.

Some of my favorite KO moments involve these two guys. It's also fun watching Weidman take a hundred or two hundred to the face when he's mounted ala Rockhold and Anders.
Good point, he was as delusional ad Weidman.Don't know if its Rockholds smarts or rather his inability to stay healthy. He's had so many pull-outs since losing the title, his injuries more or less saved his brain.
Like fell harder
A lot of guys fell off during that time. It's either IV or they couldn't get extra help. I think someone like RDA also suffered from the weight cuts. He used to be a tank when he trained with a lot with Nick Curson. Other factors could also be aging or injuries. Rashad fell off during that time too but his knees were gone.Isn’t that around the same time that Big Rig dramatically fell off? Maybe something to do with weight-manipulation shenanigans that wrestlers use? Very curious.
Makes sense, thanksA lot of guys fell off during that time. It's either IV or they couldn't get extra help. I think someone like RDA also suffered from the weight cuts. Machida also fell off the wagon. The UFC had a paradigm shift.
Rogan proclaimed It's the Machida era!
Ended one fight later.
To be fair, Eryk Anders has always been a corpse.Weidman's fall is the stuff of legend. And the fact hat he got knocked off by the corpse of Eryk Anders doesn't help his case.
The Gastelum fight gave me hope that he could make a return. Thats probably the last time his wrestling was effective. Now when he fights, it’s like he can’t strike or take any one down without it being a life or death struggle.Who you fight matters.
There isn't a version of Chris Weidman that ever walked the earth that was going to easily beat Yoel Romero. Styles make fights and that was a really difficult matchup.
Rockhold - Romero - Moose in a row is a really difficult strength of schedule. He took unnecessary damage in the fight with Luke, then had neck surgery, and comes right back to fight Romero. That is honestly career mismanagement.
He's been over the hill with a shot body for years, so not much to make of those fights. This is just to explain his 'extremely fast' decline.
Tooth knocked out vs leg break? You noobs forgot that Rockhold got his tooth knocked out by Mike Perry in bareknuckle.
That he had a terrible karate match against Joe Schilling. Schillig was just worse, gassed and got knocked out weirdly.
Then Rockhold lost to Patrick Downey a grappling match, no shame in that though.
What shocked me was that it wasn’t even an accumulation of strikes. That’s the only time Bisping had shown that level of KO power in his entire career. You know you fell off when bisping knocks you out
Tooth knocked out vs leg break?
Weird but legit win against Schilling vs eye poke win against Bruno Silva?
Loss to Downey vs loss to Anders?
…I think Rockhold takes it here, man.
