It's become so obvious to me what Conor's next move should be

He fights Tyron and goes for the triple weight class champion. Him and Tyron have beef - it was started at the Alvarez fight - If Conor won he'd make history (first three division champ) and raise the stakes higher than his last UFC fight and then if he won, it would set up the biggest fight in UFC history that may never be trumped...Conor v GSP at Welterweight.

Obvious, no?

That would 100% be his next move if Tyron wasnt so fucking boring. He is anti-ppv buy machine. If Nate would have accepted the Tyron fight and somehow won though...that fight would be booked for this Saturday ASAP.

You are correct though that Conor is only about raising the stakes at this point. If its not something huge, why bother.

As long as he's stripped or vacates the LW belt, so that division can move on from his Circus Vargas BS.

Defend his belt or shut the fuck up and enjoy his money.

Tyron would smash him to pieces what is the point

I think Conor will make Tyron interesting, just like he did with Eddie. I already enjoyed their little spat where Conor said "you're like a bitch with that phone" and they tried to alpha male each other. I'd get pumped.

I agree, but I remember Conor saying 'anyone from 45 - 70 get ready and stay ready', and it's not like Tyron is a lanky welterweight. Plus just imagine if he somehow beats Tyron. Him versus GSP suddenly seems a shit load more compelling

Also, they're both 5'9. If Conor bulked up it's not like its a huge size difference

Why can't people just accept they are never seeing McGregor step foot into an octagon again?

if Conor did fight and beat Tyron, hes fighting the MW champ for 500 million dollars next. lol

Thing about that is, if he beat Tyron, then somehow got past GSP, he could retire claiming he was essentially the champion in FW, LW, WW and MW!

Who? The retired boxer?

I doubt he will ever fight again, maybe once.

Maybe that's what you think it should be, but he'll continue to price himself out of a fight in the UFC and sit and rot until he needs money.

OR, if he's smart, he'll go ahead and fight out the rest of his contract(3 fights), vacate his belt(avoid champions clause that's in every UFC contract), and become the most valuable free agent in the history of mma. That's the only way he'll get the money he thinks he's worth. Right now he has ZERO leverage. WME has him by the balls and they know it. He can refuse to fight for them all he wants but he's still under contract and can't fight anywhere else either. They'll let him sit until he's ready to play by their rules.
