Hey guys long time lurker. Had this conversation with friends over the weekend and it was pretty interesting.
Anyway I didn't really realize how small a world it was until Facebook started to get big a few years back. I remember seeing comments from friends of friends and thinking holy shit I had no idea these people were connected to each other. Does anyone have any weird stories about flings being too close to home or meeting people that are somehow connected to you in places you'd never expect?
Back in the days before dating sites we're big, I used to troll the yahoo messenger profiles because you could do a crude search for ladies in your area. Then you'd just randomly message them and they'd either be receptive or file a restraining order.
Anyway there was this pretty hot milf on there (cougar was still a few years away from becoming a 'thing') so I hit her up. She was blonde and in shape. I'd say late 40's and a solid 8/10 for her age. We talked for a couple weeks and she was down for it. Problem was that I still lived at home with my parents and she lived with her kids so finding a place proved difficult. We ended up losing touch and that was that.
Fast forward about 4 years and I'm taking classes at college. The teacher wanted everyone to pair up to work on this power point project and I missed that day. When I came back a couple days later, I was automatically paired up with this other guy named Jared who I would have never chosen to be partners with. He just seemed trashy and poverty stricken. It only took about 10 seconds of conversation to realize this guy was crazy. He was just very aggressive. Almost like he wanted to fight me just for being partners with him. He also asked me if I wanted to buy pills and weed the first time we talked.
We had to get together after school to get the ball rolling on this thing and I didn't want to bring this guy back to my house and risk him stealing my possessions and pillaging the women of my household so I decided to go to his place.
I get there, knock on the door, the door opens and holy shit it's the milf from yahoo messenger! I about had a heart attack for real. I just ask if Jared was there and she said yeah and went and got him. The dude would have killed me if things went down a few years back the way I had hoped. We ended up getting a bunch of work done but I never went back. I still have no idea whether she recognized me or not. I don't think she did because she never showed signs or seemed nervous/awkward. It was one of those situations where I'm glad things didn't go down the way I had hoped years earlier because that would have been a very bad situation. That kid was straight up crazy.
