Itauma vs Usyk

I can't see Frank Warren letting this fight happen. It'd be the end of Itauma, and that would be a damn shame.
I don't think so either but then again Turki isn't interested in Usyk fighting Parker. He won't bankroll it. Who knows why but it's disappointing. Would he also be interested in Usyk vs Kabayel? I'm not sure.

You're acting like Usyk is some killer. He has stopped 1 person at HW. He wouldn't end anything. I doubt he would want the smoke anyway. He knows Moses is nothing like anyone he fought at HW and the toughest match up.

He's stopped 2 heavyweights, actually. One of them twice. Fury for all intents & purposes was also stopped on his feet. The ref had to save him.

@Roids

Usyk "doesn't want the smoke"? 😂

'Dynamite' Dubois - 95% KO rate
Joshua - 90% KO rate
Itauma - 85% KO rate

When Joshua had the same number of fights as Itauma he had a 100% finish rate. He went on a 20 fight KO streak. Itauma is more athletic than both of those guys but he isn't a bigger puncher than either of them. Imagine if a journeyman with a losing record went the distance with Dubois or AJ. They would've blasted him out of the ring in a round. Two of Dubois' last 3 victims were undefeated top level fighters that had never been stopped and the other was a former champ that had only been stopped once. Now GTFOH with this "Itauma is a killer but they aren't!" BS.

This is so ridiculous I can't believe people actually think this way. Yeah he's obviously talented and he has the potential to be great and possibly beat Usyk if he gets to that level of experience and earns a shot (although at that point Usyk would be likely retired), but to claim shit like "he'd KO Usyk. Usyk don't want the smoke" is so ridiculous. It's like seeing an early Berlanga with his KO streak and thinking he can stop Canelo because he looked impressive against nowhere near his level. If Itauma did that to someone like Fury I'd get it.

No. Frank and Eddie will tell that Fury III will generate more attention etc.

You really are thinking about passport first criteria, comrade.
And lurking on Usyk's KO % without thinking who and with what kind of oppoents in his record he didn't had finished. LOL. Some from these were undefeatead and not old, in prime shape....so % lesser etc BS.

Professional boxing champion should be british or U.S boxer.
Trademark: Tyson Fury.

Clear racism and tribal nationalism from someone claiming to have gypsy blood.
Gypsy king for U.K still is....Josh Taylor.
Gypsy king.. Lazlo Papp....it is what it is here..

Usyk is long ago over the hill as we do know.
Anyway if fight will be later, he will have more chances.

To finish in distance current Uskyk or even over the hill business oriented Briedis alone might today be task impossible for Itauma.

Yusk does have very good gas tank and is enough careful so....
If they will go more than 6 rounds today, I had better to bet that Usyk will finish him in distance.
This.
However Usyk is over the hill and declining mode.
So if Itauma will have some 2 - 3 fights and improve, while Usyk is aging etc... then he will have more chances to win.

Itauma has exactly two decisions as teenager.
Dubois has exactly 0 KO as teenager.
Anthony Joshua has exactly 0 KO as teenager.

Itauma in his last 9 fights only 3 fighters has managed to suvive 1 round. Noone managed to survive 2.
And he had levels better competition than either Dubois or Joshua in their first fights.

Then compare them, it is pointless.
Itauma for now is the biggest talent with noone to compare. The size, speed, power and technique - unique for someone, who still can't buy beer in USA

You can't use the "he was a teen" excuse. It didn't stop him from KO'ing guys left and right in the amateurs. He'd been sparring the best heavyweights in the world since he was like 14 and started boxing when he was 9 years old. Wrong, Joshua did have KOs in the amateurs as early as 18 years old which is when he started boxing. So did Dubois. You didn't do your homework.

Och, so you cant amateur fights.
Ok then. Joshu had then 40-3 with 8 decision, KO rate less than 75%.
Dubois had 63-6.
Both of them had multiple loses and neither had better record than Itauma.
And I am not excusing him. He was teenager. His body was still developing. It is fact. Very, very, very basic and obvious fact.
Neither of his opponent would stand a chance with him being 20 yo.

More made up stats? Yawn. Of course we're counting the amateurs because most teens are in that scene not professional. Except for places like Mexico. Canelo was only 15 years old when he turned pro. Benitez was world champion in the pro ranks at 17. Mike Tyson was 13 years old beating up grown men.

So after turning 20, he finishes only with KO. And he has more KO as a pro as a teen then Dubois and Joshua combined

What's funny is that if Moses had a 100% KO rate you'd be counting it despite most of his pro career thus far having been spent as a teen. It just shows your hypocrisy here. Joshua didn't even turn pro until he was 23 so of course Moses has more stoppages as a teen since he actually turned pro at 18. Dubois turned pro at 19 with about 5 months to spare and recorded several KOs before he turned 20.

No, I'm acting like Usyk is exactly what he is. Technically excellent, uncracked chin and the best HW on the planet.

YOU are acting like Itauma is anywhere close to Usyk's league.

I'm also acting like Frank Warren has more of a clue than you do.
