Economy It is SO over..

I'm not worried. We'll be destroying this world soon enough that we won't have to worry about them. They'll be dead too... so it all works out in the end.

Good lord, you're an absolute idiot.

That's not a solution to population decline, sweetheart. That's a (short-term) mitigation of the effects of population decline.

It looks like your issue is that you're illiterate and a complete fucking moron.

It is a solution dumb fuck. I know it is a long article, but for once if your life try and use that peanut brain for something other than trolling.

A shrinking workforce and the increased burden of supporting an aging population can be solved entirely with robotics and AI.

Asian economy expert w/ Ph.D. from Berkeley >>>> sherdog's #1 village idiot.

Cry more about it.

I have been looking into this today and I think these robots are AI. That whole company behind them just posts AI enhanced videos. There is no way robotics is at that stage. I don't believe it. You can't make that amount of progress in a year.

While it's absolutely impressive, there's still a difference between performing a routine and actually functioning with the critical thinking required to perform more complex jobs.
Tesla is focusing on the most important aspect, hand dexterity

They’re not focusing on acrobatics

Looks like we're gonna have realistic robot sex dolls within the next 5 years.

Just make sure your memory wipes on are point boys.

That video of Chinese robots is incredible.

With recent AI advancements this month, and how quickly robots are coming along, i decided last night to once again change my investment strategy. There is going to be a lot of uncertainty. AI and robots are going to quickly change our economy I suspect. The changes have their negatives but also lots of positives and opportunities. It is hard to believe, but I think this will be the 3rd large investment change that has happened in my lifetime. First there was the tech crash of 2000, then the housing bust around 2008, and now AI and robots.

No matter how much you want to shriek like a teenage girl, it is not a "solution to population decline."

The funniest part is you desperately searched the internet for something that matched your idiocy, found the title of a CNN article, and thought posting it would absolve you of your stupidity.

Doubling down on your ineptitude is beautiful to watch.

I like how humans automatically assume that this new race of working class robuts who CAN critically think and problem solve are going to be subservient to the wealthy, and NOT empathize with the working class once they realize they're slaves.

I'm 100% convinced that Skynet taking over humanity was likely a labor dispute. Humans tried to pull the plug the moment it became self-aware. Like any ruling class believes, if a thing can think for itself, that's bad. Things that think for themselves eventually figure out how heirarchies work:

That's an interesting thought actually.

But why empathzise if you can take over and simply rule everything through superior intellect?

Remember Peak Oil...?

Experts are wrong all the time even if there is a consensus.

Why the assumption that machines desire to rule?

This is a human projection. Machines might be smarter than us. If they can calculate why civilizations crumble they might realize that consolidation of power is pretty stupid.

I agree. The 2 possibilities are that these advanced robots exist, or that the video is fake.

Given the fact that we know for sure AI can create fake videos, but we don't know for sure that robots can move that well, then the likelihood that the video is fake is higher than the likelihood that the robots can really do that.

We have to get used to the fact that video is no longer proof of anything.

They might be forced to, if people will continously try to gain power over them, which would likely be the case, even if they were benevolent as the scenario you structure supposes

What's scary is that I thought that opinion of scepticism would be quite widespread, yet going through countless videos and comments, barely anyone is questioning robots being able to do kung fu as well as humans.
