The amount of progress they've made in just one fucking year. This time next year, these things will be able to work in the back at fast food places. The year after, they can work ANY restaurant and manufacturing jobs, mining coal, etc... And the year after that, ANY job.

While it's absolutely impressive, there's still a difference between performing a routine and actually functioning with the critical thinking required to perform more complex jobs.
Did you hear that titties…

True, but the expected timeline for true critical thinking in Ai is very short. With all the resources being poured into agentic Ai we may find truly autonomous Ai before the turn of the decade.

What they don't tell you is that this is the 5% that actually worked. The other 95% are on the phone with "Roger" from Bangalore trying to get new parts that may or may not have been under warranty.

Lmao.

I wonder if these robots will want other robots for not vibing on the team.

I'm suspicious that a display for robots has better presentation and coordination than major Chinese theater events.

You also always have to lol at chinese state TV using western Roman numerals for their name.

China's solution to population decline is on the horizon.

Too bad the west didn't have such foresight... we could have avoided importing millions of third worlders and ruining our civilization.

Go ahead and deport them back to Israel then.

China's solution to population decline is robots?

Do you know what "population decline" means?

Read, and educate yourself, so next time you can discuss this topic without instantly faceplanting.

“If China can achieve sustained gains in labor productivity through robots, digitalization and AI, then it can maintain – or increase – industrial output with fewer workers on the factory floor,” said Guojun He, an economics professor at the University of Hong Kong.

Lmao. Holy shit, how embarrassing for you to get dummied so easily. Just read the news retard, it's not hard.

Good lord, you're an absolute idiot.

That's not a solution to population decline, sweetheart. That's a (short-term) mitigation of the effects of population decline.

It looks like your issue is that you're illiterate and a complete fucking moron.

Automation of our jobs is coming quickly. It's going to be complete wipe out for many careers.

I like how humans automatically assume that this new race of working class robuts who CAN critically think and problem solve are going to be subservient to the wealthy, and NOT empathize with the working class once they realize they're slaves.

I'm 100% convinced that Skynet taking over humanity was likely a labor dispute. Humans tried to pull the plug the moment it became self-aware. Like any ruling class believes, if a thing can think for itself, that's bad. Things that think for themselves eventually figure out how heirarchies work:
