It gets frustrating that so few people care about their job

Meh fuck work.

Talk to me about travel n bitches n I'll take that shit seriously

It happens, the old place I was at was full of incompetent folks. I'm at a new place now and its awesome, my coworkers actually care about the company and puts in good work, so its great to work alongside people who do the same as I do. Other company, I was floating alot of the "storytellers" stuff, but oddly, they always had things to complain about. Shit, I remember doing pretty much the entire proj, floating the work this dumbass latina whore of a coworker I had. I enjoy my job so I didn't mind the work. Post-proj, the cum dumpster complained how I was selfish and didn't consult with her about things. lol.

Basically what happens is, people put alot of effort in at first, but realized they get paid the same amount (and can still maintain their job) while putting in minimal effort.

They kinda realize things when to a company it costs more money to hire a new guy and train them. I've seen somewhere they lose about 3-4 months worth of productivity to get the new guy up to full speed. At bigger companies having them around is normal, but at startups, they get booted quicker since they don't have the luxury to maintain their bs.

I work in Mortgage Sales for a major bank.

I’m the top performer in my department but out of the 50 employees in my district, maybe 3 people other than myself really try their best to earn money and do well for the customers.

Everyone else just does the bare minimum to not get fired with no cares towards their future.

Whenever I’m out trying to shop and buy products from sales people. It’s so rare that anyone has any enthusiasm or interest to close deals, make sales; make money and further their future.

It’s like a bunch of lifeless zombies everywhere punching the clock.

On a minimum wage job I kinda get it, but surely commissioned sales people should be out there enthusiastically selling.

One of these guys I know is a 24 year old Pakistani who works a terrible shitty job selling air conditioners door to door.

This hero sold 500 air conditioners knocking on doors in 2017 and earned over $300,000.00.

Where the spirit of the American dream that guys like this have?
You're definitely not alone in your thoughts. I worked my way through college selling cemetary property. You have good life skills...relish your friends and feck everyone else.

American dream died with feminism. Save up, learn a mobile skill, go abroad, find a sweet wife, don't spoil her.....profit. Even if you end up divorced, as i likely will soon, it don't make you a bad person.

But, yeah, it sucks when you feel like you're the only one that gives a shit.

Can't expect these people to be all chipper when they're getting fucked by the corporate overlords. One of my buddies used to sell luxury cars and he was telling me how he sold a brand new, loaded Infiniti that was well over $60k total and he got all of $400 for it. Four hundred.

why are you upset? if they’re lazy then it makes you look better.

this is like the best job situation to be surrounded by underachievers.

While this is the easy way, it's not the best way.

I was always better than everyone without even trying that hard. But then i got this job where this one guy was super smart and hard working. I liked him, but considered him a rival because i always wanted to outperform him.

And because of all the extra effort i put in during those years, i got promoted. So did he and we were rivals in our new jobs too.

Then i got promoted again, and so did he, but this time he was promoted to a different division and that was the end of our rivalry.

But if it hadn't been for that guy, i never would've gotten promoted. I'd still be happy being the best turd in the toilet and making hardly any money.

Being self employed is GOAT. I could never give a shit about making someone else money as much as I do about making my own. I wish I had got into this line of work earlier, I wasted so much time making other assholes rich.

If I had to sit in an office I'd milk it. That's a job created for women that a few limp write fucks decided to get into because of advances in male fashion and general acceptance of homosexuality.
LOL

most of the passion is gone from our culture. ask somebody what their dreams are and they will reply like the guy from office space: "i just want to do nothing"

I’ve been bothered by this at my job too, particularly with younger workers.

It’s rare that I see any hunger or grit in them. In your early 20s you should show up to work eager to prove yourself so you can get ahead—not do the bare minimum and cry about how hard that is.

My wife works for a major loan institution. Lots of accounting, compliance, and functions to do daily. Gets paid well. She has been complaining for years that the other women in her department do nothing at all ,all day. They made a push to hire minority women, and these women took full advantage. New management came in and fired everyone but my wife, the only white woman. The rest sued for discrimination. The company was able to prove that these three woman over the course of an entire year, did less work than my wife does in a week. Everything is tracked and functions are logged by hours. One woman had logged into a one hour function for a month lmao.

Yah, it's only "fuck the man" when it's you doing the work. When you need something, it's all "whatever happened to service...doesn't anyone care anymore?"

Sales is a hard job to care about unless you're naturally gifted.

I fucking hate sales and salesmen. You aren't working your are a leech and a snake.

They just lie and sit on their asses all day.
