The two that beat him could no longer make 145.
Donor is retired and max is having medical issues.

Aldo just defeated another dangerous fw on an impressive winning streak.
I hope he gets the Ortega match if max can't make it.

Waraldo!!!

Long live the king Aldo

Max may never fight again but Ortega is a baaaad man

He only lost those huge weight cutters,I am sure Conor will never make 145 again and probably Max too

Lost two times to Max and almost got finished by journeyman Stephens.

I don't really want to see Aldo vs Ortega. They are my two favorite FWs ever. Holloway is still better than Aldo if he can make weight, I still really want to see Max vs Brian

Yeah, and Aldo walks around at 145, right?

Wow almost got finished?????

Ahhahahhahahahhahahha wtf were you watching idiot.

Aldo got hit but not once was he ever almost “ finished” lol on the contrary Aldo took that uppercut like a beast and just continued walking Stephens down

the problem is no one except a small minority within a minority wants to see aldo v. holloway again

Aldo is way smaller than both

Aldo has said in the past that getting to 145 was always difficult and he has considered going to 155 multiple times. While Conor didn't even make the 170 mark the two times he fought at WW. I don't think they are that far apart in their weight.

Since Conor is gone from 145 for good, Holloway has brain damage , now if Ortega moved up to 155 lbs then sure Aldo could be champion at 145

Aldo is amazing to watch and one of the greatest ever but I thought he got hit a little too easily against Stephens. He's not as clinical in his striking as he used to be.

With that said, it was great to see him win and I still believe he has a fair shot at getting the title from either Holloway or Ortega. Ortega would suit him better I believe because Aldo's ground game is no joke.

Jose Aldo's celebration was honestly showing how broken he was coming into this fight. Conor's left does that to people.

I love Aldo for all that he's accomplished, but I don't think he should be given another title shot against Max (if he stays at 145) after getting finished twice.

I like Aldo a lot and thought he was criminally underrated around here before and after the McGregor fight. I also thought he should have gotten the immediate rematch and I'm not big on those. Last night he looked older and tired tho. I'm sure he's got some great fights left in him but he's visibly slowed down compared to his WEC days.
