It doesnt seem like the UFC has any control over Cyborg.

Cyborg walked right onto a UFC main card fight, kicked ass took names, and walked away. The UFC never does one fight contracts with premier fighters, but thats what she just did. Then casually tweeted her demands to be back while having no problem going back to Invicta.

She treats them like a potential promoter of her fights and nothing more.

Yeah. The Dana of Invicta seems to encourage their fighters that are doing well to put themselves out there to aim to be on the big stage. I find it weird, but doubt she's trying to get rid of her fighters and get nothing out of it. It's a good deal for the UFC. They seem to be able to pick and choose the catch of the day and send the others down to them no longer needed. It's like Invicta's the minor leagues for WMMA for UFC.

She was asked to make 135 to accommodate Rousey's ducking. But now Rousey doesn't have the belt to hide behind. No reason for her to cut 135 anymore.
