He already fought a wrestler, one of the best wrestlers in the ufc, and knocked him out. He lost to a BJJ black belt with very good boxing and a size advantage.

What is it with this "wrestler" thing, people that did that in school so think they're tough? Just look at how wrestlers with nothing else do in the UFC.

The curious thing is: Diaz didn't need to come with a ground-focused game. He just survived thru the first round blitzkrieg and then, all of the sudden, McGregor turned out to be the new Overeem. (Besides the fact that even Overeem is not the Overeem we used to know.)

Why would Conor fans hide. The 145 lb champ went up 2 weight classes to fight where he had nothing to gain. He could have waited for rda but the fans paid to see him fight and he didn't let them down. Props to Conor and Nate... And Conor will be back hopefully he will take some months and properly build his body for 155 and get acclimated too it.

I agree that it was great of him to save the event by taking on a game opponent on short notice.

But let's all at least be clear and honest that Nate is a LW. His last fight was at LW. His last win was at LW. And his last loss was against the current LW champion... who just happens to be the guy Conor was supposed to fight tonight.
