It blows my mind that Dana doesn't create more weight classes

Is that even Dana's job?
There definitely should be more divisions though. The current weight classes make no sense.
Stuck in the past like the pay per view model

so he can have even more unhappy champs? lol

if we only add divs, its gonna look weird but here's the best solution:
163
177

going
165
175
and eliminating 170 seems the "cleanest" solution but it seems blasphemous to eliminate an entire division with a fairly rich history. and im a gsp fan....

If anything he should combine 125 and 135. Unless you're a Filipino ladyboy no guy should weigh 125lbs.

why everyone always ask for 165 and 175 but not 195, 215, 225... Does size just not matter as much over 185 ?

less fighters at those weights. I don’t really care about a 215 or 225 weight class because there’s not enough fighters to fill them and it would wreck 205 and heavyweight classes

Specially between flyweight and middleweight. There is so much talent pool; and, moreover, in that size, we have the most exciting fights.

No, we don't need more weight classes. Boxing screwed up by doing that.

lol "Dana doesn't create more weight classes" is even funnier than "Dana pay/doesn't pay fighters enough"

I don’t think a new limit erases history.

You let Usman stay champ at either 165 or 175, his choice. The other belt goes vacant.

I've been ready for UFC to adopt all the weight classes under the unified rules for quite awhile.

The unified rules of MMA recognizes their merits, so does competitive wrestling and boxing. Almost all combat sports recognize the significance of 5 lbs in this range.

Personally not a fan of the 10lb different weight classes from light to middle.

But i do feel there always has been and will be potential for a great 220lb division.

Along with this eliminating the 265 cap at heavy.
