I know there is a cliche about Shedogger's reading into things and I could be wrong, but this is what I get looking at this from an outside point of view.

Israel seems less prepared mentally and physically.

There is a quiet, somber attitude coming from his training camp. Alex is training with all-time great fighters and kickboxers, finely honing techniques and growing his abilities and Israel has stayed close to his camp and is doing a lot of media and public appearances with fans, Alex's attitude is that it's his destiny to beat Israel and Israel is saying "what if" when he talks about beating Alex.

Of course, we don't know exactly what goes on behind the scenes but this is what it looks like from an outside perspective.

Israel is coming in with a wrestle-heavy game plan, which will be very new for him, and a metric shit ton of pressure on his shoulders. He's not unprepared. He's just a bit nervous, and that'll go away come fight time.
He didn't have the takedowns to do anything last time out. It would be very surprising to me if he could improve his wrestling this fast especially with how little time there is between fights. Alex may well be the superior wrestler and striker at this point. His game looks like it's growing faster than Israel.

Israel has shown less evolution than Alex.

If that is his plan he will get KOED badly he couldn't takedown Alex last fight Alex was going for takedown and he tripped himself and ended on his back....... Izzy gassed also. he is definitely mentally broken

I don't think taking Alex down is a good plan. Izzy isn't a wrestler and isn't built like a wrestler. Alex is also better in the clinch.

Izzy was one punch away from winning last fight. He needs to protect his chin better.

He worked grappling as a hail mary. There is no way he wins striking.

It will be interesting to see how he flows if he does come in with a grappling mentally. He's not a wrestler and usually fighters who change their style out of the blue like that don't do well...

Izzy's time as champ is over

Lol he's not coming in to wrestle heavy. He's coming in to do what he does best, which he's had success against Alex in all their fights despite some the dipshittery you read on here. I'm far from an Adesanya fan but Sherdog has to quit acting like Pereira just obliterated Izzy in every minute of all their figths.

He's definitely going to mix in the grappling, but the primary gameplan is 1000% on the feet.

I just watched his interview he looks focus but has that 'I just want this fight to be over with'.

He looks to ready and honest opinion here, looks like his accepted whatever is going to happen with the outcome, win or lose.

lmao, shertard thinks fight week is the time to be training

This forum never fails to deliver.

he won striking the last 2x

Its like you shertards have erased from your memory he only got to land his bombs the last 2x fights because he got 2nd chances

Even his boy Gilbert Burns knows this, said this, and picked Izzy to win.

I've been watching all the lead up footage to this fight and followed it on social media as well for months.

Alex has looked better prepared and dare I say "in Israel's head" all the way through.

We shall see though.

<BidenShutIt>

Israel got knocked out in the last two and he won the striking in the last two?

I've never heard a more deluded take.

Enjoy that Copium.

lol, no wonder you got 1k posts in over a month, you probably never breath fresh air or experience stuff in real life, your whole knowledge base is probably off this echo chamber of stupidity called sherdog.

Look if you can't understand the dynamics at play when you watch a fight, the very simple detail Izzy had Alex all by TKO'd twice, and he was saved by the bell and the ref - which to translate for you, means Izzy has demonstrated he can do, he does it first, and Alex can't take it. Its minor detail which unless you're next to brain dead you will pick up. Everyone betting knows it - thats why Izzy is the favourite

Maybe you're one of those hard learning cases and need someone special to explain it to you - well you're in luck!

This video has UFC fighters (including Gilbert Burns) explaining why they pick Izzy to win - and its exactly the same reasons I have outlined above.

Let me help you...Pereira is 3-0 vs Adesanya, with TWO KTFOs. That's all you need to know.

lol, like I have always said, the average shertard posters peak of knowledge is "who won"

The world knows that happened to Izzy, and yet hes still the favourite - because the world also knows that before that, Alex was out... yet he had a hometown ref. I should say, the world less a few retards on the internet, of which you are a part of :)

His camp footage suggests a wrestling gameplan. Pretty much 0 striking sparring sessions, and mostly grappling.

He didn't just win. He finished Israel twice.

You can argue the how and the what until you're blue in the face but the burden of proof is stacked against the guy down 0-3 with 2 KO losses in a very large way.
