Obviously. My point was ANYONE can choke Melvin out. Granted, I should've also added him being susceptible to ko's but that should go without stated.

Huge size and age advantage vs Melvin. That fight showed us nothing.
 
Izzy is definitely very talented but the fight with Melvin was kind of a freak show.

Those two looked like they're 3 weight classes apart.
 
Yeah, the Melvin fight was a huge mismatch. Was meant to be Izzy vs Dylan Andrews at MW, but Andrews got injured.

Regardless, I'm pumped for Izzy's debut. If he keeps it standing, he'll get the finish.

Haters gonna hate,the guy is good man.clean n calculated kickboxing(I reckon sometimes he should be more aggressive)takedown defence not so great,good cardio ,good fight iq,very relaxed and pretty decent bjj

If he can level up the wrestling he could be a megastar in a year or 2

I've told this story before, but I'll tell it again. The day of that fight, they had a fan expo in Houston. Melvin was the only fighter I saw at the expo that had a fight that night. I didn't like it, man.

I felt he should have been doing some mental preparation or something. Not running around the expo, taking pictures and signing autographs. I saw him at two different booths. Way too relaxed, and looking a little too confident that the Lauzon fight was already in the bag.

We know how that turned out.
