Israel Adesanya says his story with Alex Pereira is over: "If Khalil [beats Alex]... it'll be like 'well, someone else has done it', and then they could f***ing get off my d*ck. Go deal with that now, go have that story... my story with [Alex] is over."

I'm genuinely surprised he's going with Alex this time, as the past 3 times it's been against him. I'd have to agree with him though that them fighting another time is just not really necessary anymore. I could see the argument if Izzy won the MW belt back and wanted to go up to fight Alex for LHW, but since he didn't, there's really no point.

I've posted this a few times sorry for being a broken record; but in the past he referred to JBJ as the "final boss" which I believe was video game reference.

From what I remember, you didn't have to fight the same character multiple times in Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat.
So I'm not surprised that he'd want to move past Pereira after getting such a definitive (albeit fortunate due to Pereira's poor strategy) win.
