Isn't it obvious Jones was just trying to make it to UFC 200?

OSP had absolutely nothing for Jones. It's pretty clear Jones was just trying to get to UFC200 without getting hurt.

No. Jones could had finished him if he used his wrestling more. But he like going for the decision now.

Jones haters are only happy when he is in trouble. They get enraged when he is fighting and winning. Then they start spewing all sorts of shit from their traps about how he is really not a good fighter. They need medication.

he didnt train for this guy,id've been careful too.

He didint finish his sub attempt because he was mentally preparing for DC in the moment.

He did what he had to do under trying conditions. Way too much analyzing going on here.

He will be his usual self by 200. Which is bad news for DC most likely.

Probably, and im ok with it, he didnt needed to risk probably his biggest paycheck/fight with DC at UFC 200.

That coupled with the fact he was fighting someone with KO power. He had a lot to lose and was rusty, yet still.... 50-45 against a top 10 guy.

Nah, he was just rusty in this fight. Long lay-off and likely some mental distractions from all the legal stuff.

Wouldn't it be safer to just finish the fight in the first round in that case? I mean that shouldn't be hard for Jones to do if OSP didn't pose any kind of threat.

How did that work out for Mcgregor vs diaz?

Pretty much that and the fact he was fighting a dangerous guy coming of a long lay off. Why would Jon risk anything here when the real fight is up next

The fact that he laboured against a guy known for having questionable cardio and a terrible ground game who was on 3 weeks (probably less) notice isn't impressive to me.

Laboured? Jones beating 70% of the divisions top 10 isn't impressive to you? What does impress you?

If he had the control in the fight you guys think he had, wouldn't he have ended it in round one to give himself the least damage?

No - he went 5 rounds and then needed a wheel chair

Even when OSP broke his arm, Jones still couldn't stop him in two rounds

I think that was TS point with which I agree and was actually hoping for so the UFC could add a real fight to the card @200 instead of playtime with Conor...

Like when Jones took him down the last round and OSP was just laying there, and Jones just stood up and let him up for no reason at all?

That shows Jones mindset right there.
