It has to be. I know Edgar will be pissed because Aldo would beat him again and he wont get that title shot, but its the correct matchup now.
 
Yes but it will most certainly be the McGregor show. McGregor will be talked about during their walkouts, McGregor will be the first thing on the lips of the winner (and loser) in the post-fight interview, every online discussion about it will be about McGregor. it will be pretty much the McGregorBowl even though McGregor isn't fighting.

To be honest though, I think it would be a carbon copy of the first fight and not very interesting. Seems like it's taking a long time for the Holloways and Bektics of the division to start taking over. The sooner that happens, the better.
 
They are not broke. I say wait for Conor. Some of you just want them out by process of elimination. Conor defeated Aldo soundly, but there is going to come a point he needs to give Aldo that rematch. Otherwise, it will smack of him getting lucky, and scared to face Aldo a second time.
 
If they go ahead with Nate vs. Conor 2, I'm thinking they'll book Aldo vs. Edgar 2 for interim featherweight title in the meantime. Maybe even at UFC 200 as well.
 
Both fighters should take this fight, then winner demands Conor defend his belt. It's their only option to stay relevant and in Conor's face.

Do it at 200 then call Conor out!!! FTW.

Nah, I want Conor to fight both of them asap. Giving one of them a loss fucks that up.

wtf are all you idiots talking about?? He JUST unified the FW title, why should Edgar V Aldo be for the interim or striped title??? It should NOT, and wont be. They must fight for the #1 contender spot. Wow some of you "fans" omg.

No way Frankie or Aldo takes that fight, it would be foolish for both of them.
