Rumored Islam Makhachev Has Possible Staph infection Before UFC 302 And Mcgregor Hates It

Let's hope it is nothing serious, last thing I want is to see Islam go into this fight not on top of his game.
He might actually lose somehow and then we have a rematch (maybe even trilogy ughhh) resulting in another division held hostage.

Damn, Conor's being pretty mean.
He didn't like Khabib ghosting him after whipping his ass?

Its the same area, same leg he KO'd Volk with, and after that fight he was limping noticeably and said he needed to get his leg checked out.

Could be an old infection, that kept him from making the March date he was gunning for initially.

Esedulla Emiragaev bless.

Ngl Islam does look much lighter this time around.

Or maybe his weight cut went exceptionally well.

I can't stand conor, but admittedly, there was an era where his trash talk was on point and effective. he's become such a shell of his former self in many ways. every time he brings up khabib, islam, etc, it's really embarrassing. comes off really poorly

Imagine going on a vile disgusting rant like that because a fighter may have staph. Says a lot about Conor.
You do realize staph is contagious right?

There's a lot of things to shit on Conor for, but being disgusted at a fighter potentially entering the ring with a contagious infection they can spread to their opponent ain't one of them.

Get help for that Conor Derangement Syndrome before it spreads.

This is actually a very good point.
Dustin already almost lost his leg to the infection, less than 2 years ago (December 2022). I think he should really think twice about risking that again.

You want Islam to pull-out ?<Fedor23>

Although in modern fighting sports staph seems to be played down a lot, it’s actually very contagious and potentially super serious, as in amputation and death serious … I don’t understand the widespread presence in top MMA camps, you’d imagine they’d be hyper careful, disinfect everything, suspend anyone with the slightest sign until it’s cleared up, etc.
