Islam makhachev and Leon Edwards getting a title shot while not beating top fighters

In fact, you and @moosaev love to create situations that doesn't exist (not to say specific psychiatric terms lol) in your heads. Crazy guys. But no problem, you can create what you want. Facts won't change with your reality bending.

Islam is the one who will need to explain things if he loses. After all, he and his team that started the "McGregor way" of disrespecting opponents, not Charles who is always humble. Funny thing, Khabib hates McGregor and just after retiring started talking the same way. Go figure. Maybe his fans behavior is just like his own, hypocrites lol.

But good luck for Islam, he'll need it. Not only fighting, but also backing all this shit up.
You are beyond stupid for comparing what Khabib said to Conor’s trash talk. Did Khabib make fun of Oliveira’s wife? Did he mock his religion? Did he insult his father? No, so stfu with that nonsense comparison.

It's really such a false comparison, isn't it? I don't necessarily agree with what Khabib said about Aloe Vera, but it's completely within the acceptable lines of trash talk in combat sports. Definitely different than Conor and crew saying "your wife is a towel mate" or the shit he said about Dustin's kid(s), etc.

Islam and Leon edwards got 0 wins over top 5 talent. And now they are pretty close to getting title shots.

Leon beat Journeyman Diaz, RDA and Cerrone

Islam beat Dan Hooker, Moises and Drew Dober.
Leon had a hella long winning streak, including against top fighters. And he beat the breaks off of Belal before the accidental eye poke. He also would have added Colby to the list if Colby didn't duck, claiming he'd rather be "balls deep" in Polyana Viana than take the fight. He proved that the shot was well deserved. Even if he didn't brutally finish Usman, he would have taken two rounds off of him, which is more than all of the challengers can say except Colby.

Leon was unbeaten for 6 years

It's getting more common. The UFC is getting boxified in that matter where long winning streaks don't result in title shots and the guys with long winning streaks don't fight each other in order to preserve their shot.

Can't blame the fighters given how poorly UFC fighters are paid just stating the reality of the situation. If you've won 8-9 fights in a row and will get a title shot by patiently waiting why would someone risk that by fighting another contender you could lose too? Why would said contender want to fight them when they could also wait?

Undefeated and one loss fighters are becoming more and more common just like in boxing the monniker "in the UFC the best fight the best" really only applies to the championship outside of that they really don't.
