a lot of Charles fans making excuses how he lost but how do you see guys your idol beating Islam?

Islam isn't sloppy no defense Dariush. Islam has prolly best defense right now in MMA. Is great in clinch also better striker than Charles.

There is no way Charles submits Islam also. Islam is just much better fighter than him he isn't one dimensional like Gaethje and Poirier.

Islam beat him everywhere on the ground, feet, clinch.

There is no path to victory there for Charles unless some crazy KO which is 1% that will happen

I think he looked better than ever tonight and maybe he got used to his newly corrected vision. Who knows, I wouldn't just write Oliveira off because he lost the first time.
He got murked and embarrassed the first fight lol outclassed I wouldn't bet money on him lol

Yeah, but you forgot you’re talking to the crew where 33% had Aldana beating Nunes. A whole bunch also thinks Volk, by not getting submitted, proved that Islam is beatable.

this is the most baffling one

volk not getting choked was such an achievement that he didn’t lose his p4p title and people it should be ran back

Islam dominated him from start to end

Islam's fans are already terrified, trying to diminish godlike Charles. Your time is coming. Like we saw in the other fight, without a knockdown like that Islam is fucked up. Will be much worse than this:

I'd definitely favour Islam in a rematch vs Charles, or in a fight with any current LW. Having said that... it would be stupid to think that Charles has no shot. He's dangerous as fuck in there with his aggressive offense and finishing skills on the feet and on the mat. He certainly has a chance of clipping Islam on the feet and finishing him, as he has with so many of his recent opponents. It's not like Islam has a great chin. I'm 70/30 Islam for the rematch but I'll never count Oliveira out.

So many people said that Beneil was going to dominate Charles and that he was going to make it look easy. There were claims everywhere that Charles could not match his BJJ, he could stand and trade with Charles etc. All of them were proven wrong.

He didn't do any of the flying shit that got him countered by islam, continues to show that the best grapplers in the division can't keep him on the mat for long, and I also liked the high kicks to keep the power hand of the southpaw glued to their head. The fight was too short to show us much, but It was a more grounded oliveira overall.
