Media Islam EXPOSES Nate Diaz as a fraud

This may or may not be true, but I'm certainly not just going to take Islam's word for it.
The Dagi fighters don’t lie about stuff like this, they’re pretty upfront. No reason to doubt him unless you’re looking for a reason.

Diaz brothers can be some serious dummies, but frauds? No. Enjoyed their early to middle careers. After that it admittedly got weird. I think they soured a bit on the fight game coupled with some personal issues, which is quite normal.

They aren't scared. They aren't frauds. They worked hard and each had some big wins. They provided some serious entertainment. I don't care how other fighters personally view them. As a fight fan, they were both ok by me.
I won’t speak on Nick, but Nate’s public persona is 100% fraudulent. It’s an act just like Colby Covington, and this interaction with islam proved it. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t an entertaining fighter.

These people are broadly speaking, religious nutjobs.

Apply that how you will.
“Religious nut job” is your own subjective characterization because you don’t like their religious beliefs or conservative outlook. None of that mutually excludes them being humble, honest, loyal, friendly, etc. All their American & foreign associates attest to their character, this is a grey world, just because you don’t like an aspect of someone’s identity it doesn’t negate other attributes of their character.

I don't think Nate is a fraud.

I didn't watch the video. Maybe he was smart enough not to fight Islam in an elevator. Maybe he would on other days. Maybe this story is made up. But it really has nothing to do with who Nate Diaz is.

I think Nate is a cage fighter with low impulse control that frequently does stupid things. This is who he is. Combined with alcohol and drug abuse and the culture he wrapped himself in, you create the Diaz brothers.

Some people have on-air or on camera personalities that differ from who they really are, particularly within sports entertainment. Is this breaking news?

I enjoy some heel behavior and having someone to root against.

And when he's fighting randoms dude in the street or youtube guys, he's selling a fight ?
what?

what are you talking about, when is he "fighting guys in the street"?

he throws bottles of water at people when he is with about 30 other people and its being filmed, stop talking shite and engage your brain a little bit

the drunk fella he picked on, that isnt a street fight, that is him being a fucking bully against someone pissed mate

Nobody can argue how tough Nate is. We've all seen his fights.

“Religious nut job” is your own subjective characterization

Yes, this is called an opinion. We are literally here to express our opinions on fighting and fighters.

because you don’t like their religious beliefs or conservative outlook.

No, this is categorically untrue. All the Christian athletes who annoyingly insert God into every public discussion they have are equally described as religious nutjobs. I'm not singling Muslims' out.

If you cannot make it through a single interview of any kind without injecting your religion, despite it being completely apropos of nothing, you are exhibiting cult like behavior.

None of that mutually excludes them being humble, honest, loyal, friendly, etc. All their American & foreign associates attest to their character, this is a grey world, just because you don’t like an aspect of someone’s identity it doesn’t negate other attributes of their character.

You can be a nice humble person and still be indoctrinated.

Islam wanted non of that Smoke. Nate beat him an Khabib same day so even if he confuses again he's covered.

At one time he didn't want trouble, the other time he wanted trouble

I don't see the fraud

I've been a fan of Nick Diaz since IFC when he fought Lytle. As I followed his career, I loved the fact that he could box and then had the skills to submit you when you had enough of getting punched. Then I found his weed-smoking and don't give a F attitude refreshing, and his gangster persona humorous. All the while he's winning fights, complaining his ass off and contradicting himself. Meanwhile Nate followed in his footsteps and had some success. I was a fan right away and thought he would turn out to be an upgraded version of Nick. At this point, however, and like many have already stated, it's all kind of just old and sad now.

I will say, however, neither of them are afraid to fight anyone. To say otherwise is just silly.
