Biggest news seems the escalating clashes on israeli border ,pro regime militas (hezbollah among them)firing shells and mortars across border
israelis have hit back with a few airstrikes which normaly reminds the militas to knock it off but this time they are persisting forcing israel to close a nearby highway

Military operations are restarting in Palmyra possibly for a new offensive against ISIS, scores of ISIS fighters have died in the past 24 hours do to increased bombing.

The SDF may be starting a new offensive in Southern Hasakah to wipe ISIS out completely in the area.

In Deir Ezzor rebels have suicide bombed ISIS position is response to ISIS killing a dozen of their men in a recent video. Around 20 ISIS members were killed.

Also in Deir Ezzor the SAA led by Brigadier General Issam Zaher Al-deen has started a new offensive to extend their defensive barrier around their fortified positions. Here is a map of their gains and a video of their operations.


In Qunaitra the brother of General Issam Zaher Al-deen, Abu Somar Zaher Al-deen has been appoint as the new head of operations in the area. This is especially notable because he is a Druze fighting in a Druze area.

Russian carrier-based Su-33 fighters receiving new bombing computer

The SVP-24 is a specialised navigation and targeting system produced by Russian avionics developer Gefest and T. It enables combat aircraft to deliver conventional ordnance with accuracy approaching guided munitions, Russian sources claim. Historically the Su-33 had only a basic air-to-ground capability.

Gefest and T has now delivered the first Su-33 with SVP-24 under its contract signed with the MoD, and is installing the system on two more naval fighters. The company expects to put SVP-24 on all aircraft in the squadron before Russian Navy carrierAdmiral Kuznetsov deploys to the eastern Mediterranean in November, according toIzvestia . The carrier's air group will likely consist of 10 Su-33 and four MiG-29KR fighters.

The SVP-24 calculates the optimal point for bomb release based on the position of the aircraft and target, wind speed and direction, and other variables. The MoD has announced that the targeting computer produced a three-fold increase in the accuracy of aerial bombing when installed on the Su-24M. Russian sources add that as a permanent aircraft component the SVP-24 is cheaper to use than expendable kits attached to gravity bombs like the US Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM).

Initially developed in the mid-1990s and accepted for service by the MoD in 2008, the SVP-24 is installed on some Russian Su-24M, Su-25SM3, and Tu-22M3 bombers. The Su-24M is the primary bomber used in Syria. It has delivered mainly high-explosive FAB-250, FAB-500, and concrete-piercing BetAB-500 unguided gravity bombs.

So FSA rebels pitched a bitch fit over the presence of US SOF in Al-Rai. They started protesting and threatening to slaughter US troops for "invading Syria". The vid above is supposedly of US SOF withdrawing from Al-Rai and heading back to Turkey.

However, apparently US SOF are now back in Al-Rai.

The rebels involved in the earlier protest have been "discharged".

And the Syrian shitshow keeps on keeping on...

Yeah this has outraged the pro assad crowd online ,calling america isis air force......forgetting of course america has done most of the heavy lifting with the anti isis air campaign, its the ome player thats most to thank for the saving of kobane and swathes of iraq plus russias own strikes on fsa targets who were fighting isis at time.
Thers talk of russia wanting this discussed at unsc meeting asap or at least condemed at u.n.


Meanwhile israel hit again with artillery...so expect more air strikes
