spinning shit can drain the tank, maybe the grappling exchanges sucked it out of him?

Anyway he was visibly gassed in the last 3 mins of round 3, is this a problem moving forward or just a sign of how gruelling the fight was?

Spinning shit all the time is a bad zabit

Oh, no shit might explain it then.

Some people don’t think it’s an excuse, but if you’ve had staph, you know it can make you weak as fuck. I think Kevin Lee would have finished Tony if he didn’t have that head growing out of his chest.

He did hit the wall in the 3rd hard to say if it’s an issue. May have been that he was getting hit and that can suck the life out of you.

This. Zabit has solid fundamentals unlike Yair who only bring shame to us Mexicans. He just has to tone down on the low probability flashy shit a bit and he'll be fine.

My initial thought was he's just too big for the division. He looks cartoonishly large in there for his weight class.

If you are absolutely wrecking your opponent with complete impunity, and run out of steam by way of beating them up... to the point where you literally can't lift your arms? Yeah you have a cardio problem.

Other people mentioned he may have been on antibiotics though, which is definitely a game changer. If it wasn't a health issue from medication, I'd like to see him move up.

That dude is pure joy to watch fight.

That was one of the fastest paced fights we´ve ever seen at FW. Bochniak was literally running towards him, throwing non stop strikes. Both guys's gas tank were incredible.

There are people who can help break this bad zabit

Yeah... kinda missed the gag there but your right.
And in future, nobody knows why the chicken crossed the road or if there even was a chicken in the first place

I was watching that fight again today Lee vs Ferg and you´re right, he was having success on the feet landing the heavier strikes and was better on the grappling exchanges, he even had Tony mounted and was landing heavy gnp at the end of the 1st round. It sure looked like he gassed too quickly which led to him being finished (not taking anything away from Tony, who hung in there, wheathered the storm and got that sub).

He had staph recently

He also broke his hand while warming up in the dressing room...and also staph...I think it was a very draining fight...but I do think he should limit his spinning attacks and fancy stuff...he'd be better off..

fighting with only one good hand can also drain you...

Is he ready for a big name fight? For example, if he fought Aldo - would he beat him? Do you think he could pull that zabit out of a hat?
It's a bad zabit aldo I do enjoy watching it

His cardio isn't an issue but his last name definitely is
