Is Wonderboy the best striker in the UFC?

I got Barboza a close second. Maybe Cruz should get a shout out too. Thoughts?
 
Is he coming off a victory? Well then, by golly, he's the best striker in our lifetime and possibly others.
 
It's really hard to quantify that across all the divisions. But he's definitely in the discussion.
 
He does remind of Machida, especially the pre-UFC era Machida when things had gotten like the old days in martial arts- there were whispers about his abilities and his legend grew. IDK but those kicks... sheesh.
 
He might be. Boring decisions like this don't generally lend to the immediate case. We'll have to wait and see. Currently.. maybe

Anything I say isn't going to be enough for you, as Wonderboy is flavor of the month and the newest hype train.

But barring getting fucking blasted into Bolivian by Conor recently, Id say Jose Aldo's is better... I'd argue Junior Dos Santos' is better... Maybe even Overeem...

I'd say, without a moment of hesitation, that TJ's is better.

I also think that if Robbie cuts the cage off from Thompson and forces a fistfight like Rory did for a couple short bursts (where he did his best work) that he will clown Thompson

Thompson seems to have the best sidekick in MMA and some of the best circular evasive movement (which from a guy with a heavy Karate background is very surprising...)
But his boxing is pretty weak and I refuse to acknowledge someone as the BEST striker in all the weight divisions when a major aspect of striking isn't even top 10... Dude has good counters, an eye for when to throw spinning shit, and amazing kicks... I don't think that means he is the best overall.
 
When you put jds name in the Best striker in mma you know you dont Know shit about what you talking about.

Do you honestly think JDS has better striking than Thompson.
 
If he beats Lawler, we'll have an answer, but now is premature to think that.
 
Jds reminds me of a tough guy brawler who learned some skills to box. He's nowhere near top in UFC.
