He gets too emotional and the fact that the way he fights people makes him hesitant says something. Him vs Silva was really weird with him balling on the floor saying sorry. Then you look at him against pretty much everyone he fucked up on TUF makes you think he has to hold back. Seems like it's clear he never will reach his full protentional (especially now that he's older.) If every opponent I face I'm afraid to hurt you can't be too aggressive like you need to be. Kinda reminds me of CroCop vs Barry except Hall wins. I think he could have finished that earlier if he actually had any sort of killer extinct which is ironic for a finisher.

I think one of them yes. "Fighters who rely on intimidation become intimidated when it doesn't work." ~Teddy Atlas

Gotta be Colby. Outspoken and brash before the fight and when he wins but when he got his jaw broken he didn't face the music and has since just claimed Usman cheated lol. Levels of delusion we haven't seen since Ronda.

She rises to the occasion tho. Seemed like she was out of the game after the slam from Andraje but went in and beat her. Typically that doesn't happen especially when they are questioning their career after.

she was also a champion. Although she struggles with anxiety and the pressures that come with being at the top. I would have perhaps been more inclined to question her mental toughness had she not come back from that vicious slam in Brazil. That fight could have really destroyed her. taking a fight in a hostile environment usually falls to the challenger, but Andrade was fortunate to have her challenge occur in her own backyard in a notoriously difficult and reverent MMA cradle.

He isn't mentally weak, it's not like we have seen him quit once hurt. He actually overcame a pretty bad toe break IIRC. What he lacks is the will to hurt people, which is not exactly great when you are a pro fighter, but it's ludicrous to call that a mental weakness.

That's more like a sore loser, you can't be "mentally weak" and put the act Colby has been doing for all these years, a real mentally weak fighter would have already crumble like Honda specially after his fellow friends turned their back on him (rightfully so)

He have one of the strongest will in the sport, just his style alone should be a clear indicator and after his lost to Fakenewsman he returned as focused as ever and put a beat down and finished Woodley.

And lets not forget Marty faked a low blow, not trying to justifying Colby in that part but I guess he is doing what he can to get that rematch regardless if it will work or not

Not sure if Aldo was mentally weak or just plain stupid for running into conor face first?

Not even close. He’s on and he’s off just like any fighter.

Only someone mentally strong can even be in his position with the success he’s had.

maybe a couple of fights.

But a lot of his fights he got his ass kicked and blasted out of the first round.
