How do we know the released files are real ? Why is the Congress exposing the President ? I thought the President was some head boss. Sounds like democracy is working. But if Mr Trump doesn't get get prosecuted does that mean the files are worthless and could be deemed fake ?

Trump campaigned on releasing it but had no intention to do so. Because he's an idiot but he knows his base cared about it.

Congress voted to release the files so now it has to be done. Trump got really angry at members of his party that voted for the release, even though he campaigned on releasing the files and bringing traffickers to justice.

Trump's corrupt Department of Justice slow walked the release, trying to scrub him out of all the material. Trump hires mostly idiot yes men and yes women so they completely fucked it up. They've released several file dumps that are a fraction of what they have, but all of it implicates him in a ton of crimes.

Many of these are unverified tips, some are from interviews with victims and US attorneys. It appears that any tips involving Trump were not fully investigated because the DoJ was not allowed to investigate them.
