Seems like it to me. Can't think of any other sport that charges 64.99 or whatever outrageous price that only climbs for PPV's, then on top of it FP and and extra channels because the prelims are always spread out.
Then on top of it cards like UFC 223 regularly fall through, leaving people who bought tickets/go on trips in a tough spot, for a sport that I'm sure costs a lot more to attend when compared to others.
A card falling apart in the last week like UFC 223 has is deflating as fuck for a fan like myself. Irresponsible on the UFC part for not having a real back up plan, and letting what was going to be one of the best MMA cards all year into a shitshow that even Conor found his fucking way into.
This whole event went from being the best MMA card of the year to being debacle of the year that I'm honestly conflicted about buying now just from all the bullshit surrounding it and UFC irresponsibility about the whole situation.
I feel sorry for everyone, the fans who got tickets to go, the people hyping this card us as card of the year to their friends, and most of all the fighters who were involved in all that bullshit that can't even fight now.
Thank god Al stepped up and Khabib accepted the fight so all hope isn't lost yet.
