Is UFC setting Maia or Condit up for a title shot.?

I was looking forward to watching Maia vs Condit at ufc202 and when I read the news that they had moved that fight to another card I got rather dissapointed. Later I read that they were headlining that card I started to woner if they where setting them up for potential title shot. Headlining a card is good way to (re-) introduce them to the fans and putting them into the spotlight.
Thomson vs winner of Lawler vs Woodlay and Maia or Condit will chalange the current champ after that or wait as a subtitude if Thomson falls to the indury bug.
Good news if you are a Maia fan, he certainly deserves a title shot

The timing for WW contenders is pretty shitty right now.

Wonderboy should be getting a title shot this fall, but if any injuries occur during Lawler/Woodley, it could set him back till early next year. Then that means that the winner of this Condit/Maia fight could be sitting out until Spring of next year.

That title picture is the most crowded of any division right now and Woodley getting a shot fucked it all up. It's unfathomable that Woodley hasn't fought for 18 months and he's pushed ahead of the active fighters like Wonderboy, Maia and Magny.

The one time Dana holds true to his word and it ends up like this. I rarely feel bad for Dana, but he fucked up by promising Woodley a title shot.

waiting on conor really fucked up WW for the year. At this point, woodley got it cause everyone other than condit was either booked or just fought. I was very much on the side of WB not getting a shot by virtue of handpick destruction and needing another fight. But after beating Rory, he's the clear #1 contender. He should definitely get the winner or lawler/woodley. Maid/condit winner can be next.
