Moving to O'ahu next week and want to join a good gym. I really don't know where to post this, so mods feel free to move it. BJ's name is on it, but he lives in Hilo. I don't know the instructors at this gym.

Yes, it is a good gym, but parking sucks. Also, you get to watch all the ppv's for free. Good classes and equipment.... There are actually two in Oahu. On in Honolulu and one in Waikele. Honolulu is bigger I think.

Don't forget your UFC T shirt and hat everywhere you go once you begin!

Also tell everyone you train UFC or cage fighting.

You can train a lot of UFC there for sure. They specialize in touching people with teh jab.

Be sure to check out Relson's gym his BJJ is pretty decent:) good guys over there!

You're talking for training right and not just a gym for working out? There is literally a ton of places to train MMA in Oahu and generally I would recommend steering clear of a UFC branded place. I haven't ever used one, but it just reeks of a place made to take advantage of people.

For a place that is good for lifting weight and training MMA, I liked this place in Aiea not far outside Honolulu

Is this thread really supposed to be in the heavies?
