Is Travis Browne the fighter that most regressed in the past few years?

Browne's 2 biggest wins were most likely flukes, imo. I just don't think he's all that good. He's huge and strong so he can KO people, but that's just HW.
 
he is the same, overrated fighter.
 
he hasnt gotten worse he has slightly improved. He was a HW trying to be Cruz it was kinda bad to watch

Referee didn't stop the fight vs Overeem
Eyepokes and cheating vs Meathead

Without luck and cheats he wouldn't even be in the top 12

Most people just hate him because he's dating Ronda. He's a great fighter, and i pick him to beat Cain.

Khabib and Cain give AKA a bad rep. Besides them, Kos, Fitch, Rockhold, and Cormier pretty much never get hurt or pull out of fights. Until Cormier recently but thats a knee problem he's had from wrestling since before he trained MMA.
 
I just want Cain to regress him to the roots

If you want any more proof besides Ronda that Edmond just sucks at Boxing you have that in Travis, who put his personal life(banging Ronda) ahead of his career and now he is paying the price.

I disagree. His footwork and boxing have always been terrible. He was/is a big athletic HW, which was enough to get by. He's never been tremendously skilled or varied.

Werdum made him look like an amateur.
 
He had a good run, and a decent chin. But he never looked amazing.

He could do it again, or, more like all the other heavyweights, he will end up with his chin all smashed to hell from fighting guys like Arlovski, Hunt, Reem etc. over the years.

I know UFC HWs get a bad rep- but you eat those bombs professionally and see how long you keep your chin for. Noones gets better. They all break eventually.
 
poor Gray Maynard & Ellenberger , I had high hopes for them...

Travis skills were never there to regress, I think he has just gotten lazier in training due to his status of having a Sugar Momma to suckle from.

he was never that good. Gonzaga and Barnett wins were dirty or borderline cheating. he was getting his ass kicked by Reem, and if refs were more consistent, Reem would have got a TKO win. Brendan Shaub? lol. and he poked Meathead's eyea badly.

Not entirely true. He also has a good reach and is nimble for a big HW. Combines with power that's pleny of useful physical attributes to do well at HW. I can't stand him but he's not a bum or Brett Rogers.
