Is Tom Aspinall still your boy?

I get you, but I think Tom really thinks it was a multiple time intentional foul. We have to think how we might react if someone did something, knowingly illegal multiple times, that also affected our livelihood.

I mean how would we feel if someone took our cheetos or turned off the lights in our basement? We would be having a fit too.
At the end of the day yes, we would all be pissed off in the same situation, but that's the thing, I don't think he really believes it was intentional, it's why this whole new schtick comes across so fake imo, like he's trying too hard just because people online said some stuff, I get you but then we might as well just never talk shit and that's no fun

Never was, didn’t buy into the hype at all with this guy.

One thing I will say is I used to want to see him get KO’d but after the shit he pulled I don’t find him reliable and I’d rather not see him main event again or even fight again.
He also has maintained an “I’ll just quit if it happens again” attitude which fair you do you but it’s doing him no favours.
At the end of the day accidents happen and if everyone quit anytime a foul happens half the fights would go to NC every card.

No doubt he is. He's done nothing wrong.

I had to watch 17 porn ads to access the stream.

Fair enough. It does seem to be an overreaction, even on that same night, which never looks good. Cheers.

I started listening to his recent Helwani interview and had to stop, he was coming across so childish. He is not dealing with this well at all imo, gave me almost Colby Covington vibes with some of the stuff he was saying, definitely lost respect for the guy.

I thought he was a super decent guy, and I'm not saying he's a bad person or anything, but just the way he's acting about this situation feels so immature and childish it made me see him completely differently now.

Should have just said 'I know it sucks, but I'm not fighting compromised' and leave it at that, it would have blown over by now, instead he's trying to make it some kind of character now which just feels weird.

The worst part was him being so insecure that he couldn't admit that he went for a takedown in the fight. That was so ridiculous, seriously on the level of me as a 8 year old saying "I wasn't even trying" when my older brother would beat me at a video game.

I guess I’m in the minority, but I just don’t think he’s faking it or milking the situation. I’m not bothered by the way he’s acting, either. He was never my favorite fighter - always thought he was exciting but with some big question marks like his gas tank. This situation certainly hasn’t soured me on him, though it did seem like he was in for a tough fight had it continued. I do think most of you are pretty weird for the way you’re obsessing over him, though.

The actual incident seemed like a fairly standard stoppage due to eye poke. Would be a shit bout anyway if he can't see or if Gane only lost due to point deduction or something anyway. So better to stop and redo it.

Social media has never been Tom's strong suit so the fallout doesn't surprise me but who cares, just rebook the Gane bout as soon as possible and get the division moving again

I'm ok with Tom. He seems like a nice dude. Never understand the hate he gets here. I guess some people just need to hate someone.
