Is This The Worst Botch Ever?

My heart always goes out to the Hayabusa one. I wonder if FMW would have survived had it not gone down that way also.

According to Google, the worst ever is this one... I saw this a few years ago but I have no other info... Gotta love the guy for trying to kick out!

Hayabusa spring board moonsault.
Goldberg kick that ended Bret Hart's career.
Cena having a career.

This was originally a botched powerbomb but he got suck a strong crows reaction he added this move to his arsenal for a while... Not a fun thing to happen to you. The Kawada driver aka The Genso Bomb.

"Damn he almost killed himself. Probably fucked up his neck/spine. I should hook his leg on this pin!"

I just don't understand the logic sometimes. Ref never should have let it end like that. I had a similar reaction to the Stone Cold/Owen botch (probably my vote for worst ever) of all the ways to get out of that match is Steve going for a weak roll-up and then having Owen kick out on 3 really the best option for a guy with a broken neck?

Technically speaking, it was Johnny Ace who inflicted it on him. He basically said "This is what you're doing in the match, I want you to hit the big boot off the top rope!" Sid said "I don't jump off the top rope ever, I certainly don't want to do it where I land on one leg", and the jist of it was "Well, if you don't want to do it... I guess you don't want to work here."

Then, WCW is bought by WWE, and then Johnny Ace becomes the Vice President of Talent Relations.

Wasn't it his idea for Brock to go for the shooting star at Mania even though Brock didn't want to do it.

I don't think so. JR was still in charge of talent until 05 and Brock had done the ssp plenty of times before in OVW and during dark matches.

With the SSP, it was a group effort of "Hey, we kinda need a WrestleMania moment here, how about that Shooting Star Press". But, there's a difference between doing it in front of 13 people, a dog and a can of soup in OVW, and millions at WrestleMania. Brock was coerced into it, and you saw him hesitate just as he jumped.

That vid is weird though, seeing him high fiving fans as a nice guy babyface.

I think brock blamed the agent and kurt blamed himself for helping plant the idea. brock said the reason it failed was that it was done at the end of the match when he was tired. He said he successfully had done it prior in practice that week but when he was fresh. Brock noted he wasn't keen on doing it but was pressured into it.

most of that doesn't make sense since Laurinaitis was just an agent wasn't he? And why would Sid be job scared? He's Sid fucking Vicious. Far as I know, the bridge wasn't burned when he left WWF, not to mention he would be on Sting salary on the Indies during the peak of the boom period.

And wasn't Laurinaitis put in as a talent liason between WCW talent and the WWF brass? Because everyone else who had backstage duties in WCW either left or had heat?
