In terms of his fighting ability, I really do hope he brings it against Khabib. I'd love to see how he responds to true adversity and Tony is on a short list of guys that can make that happen. Ready for a good scrap.

I wholeheartedly agree Tony is hard to like when you watch him back on TUF. The guy is super likeable and then just acts erratic and anti-social. But he wins.

And after all these years I find his personality endearing in a way because he's never changed. Something about just being who he is even with all its oddities is likable.

I don't know that I would call it cringe so much as erratic but yeah. Dude talks to voices in the walls and trains with an imaginary team. I fucks with him.

Yeah he's really polarizing in my opinion. In this video I can see that I wouldn't be able to maintain my sanity while being in the same room with him.



He's completely unaware of how absurd his rant is......and it goes on FOREVER. This isn't a bunch of BS or shit talk to hype things up, he genuinely seems to believe every single word that's coming out of his own mouth. But he is himself through and through, and I respect the balls it takes to live life on your own terms. Fascinating yes, but would he be an annoying hang? You betcha.

Tony talked about that later and really regretted it though. He apologized to Charlie Rader and admitted he was drunk and out of line.

Tony is a weird dude for sure but that's the only example of him ever truly being an asshole for no reason. The thing with Wedum maybe a little but that was more just 2 fighters with egos flexing.

It's weird for me because his personality is the type I generally don't like but for some reason I find him endearing. I would imagine I'm skewed to a degree by how awesome he is to watch fight, but that's only part of it I think. I can't figure out the rest but I just accept it.
