I don't think he took a break in that 3rd round. He was just aware Conor is hunting for a knee during his takedowns.

Na. You're claiming they have a "flaw" for something they're still very, very, very strong in.

Sean O'Malleys wrestling is a flaw.

Cardio is not a flaw for Khabib or Islam.
It might only be an 8 or a 9 out of 10, compared to Merab's 10/10 or Khabib's 10 out of 10 wrestling. To call it a flaw is absurd.

I think Merab is the answer to this question. But to pretend Khabib, Islam and even Umar don't have super elite cardio is ridiculous
 
He got so much cardio cause he got no knockout power. Slow twitch fiber dominant.

Khabib has good cardio but he could never shoot 49 takedowns and throw 400 strikes in a 5 round fight. Merab has the GOAT cardio, it literally doesn't make sense.

The Strickland having elite cardio narrative is wild. It's good but it isn't special, DDP is much better. He literally slows down in all his 5 rounders and doesn't have an exhaustive style at all. Plus the only guy he's ever melted with a pace is Abus who has 1 round of gas and is shit.

Strickland is more about pacing.
 
It’s obviously Merab, he’s freakish and probably the best ever. We have not seen guys be able to fight at that relentless pace for 5 rounds and not slow at all. Khabib didn’t have bad cardio but he often took a round off. Not even a discussion, the answer is very obvious.
