Nah. I've done it plenty of times. Stealing is if you take it home with you
His example isn't actual theft though, it's more just being inconsiderate.Yes. If you have to ask yourself if it is, it is.
Hate to break it to ytou thats theft. If its clear thats how they serve out the food your stealing. I guess if i go in a market and there is no cashier i can just leave change on the table and leave with things as i dont want to wait. His example isn't actual theft though, it's more just being inconsiderate.
It would be like paying to go to one of those fancy buffets in which they prefer somebody behind the counter to actually serve the food to you physically. You go to get more of a specific dish and the attendants gone so you decide to serve yourself instead of waiting for him to come back or asking another employee. Your not stealing it's just considered rude.
Not if your room is missing something and ya strip nekkid when ya swipe the stuff. You're staying in a hotel and you steal something from the housekeeper cart sitting unattended in the hallway.
Is that really stealing? They would've given it to you if I asked, but you didn't ask.
Technically, taking someone else's property without asking is stealing.
Have some nuts, go rob a drug dealer.

Serving yourself at a buffet or taking from a cart that's sole purpose is to restock your room isn't theft.Hate to break it to ytou thats theft. If its clear thats how they serve out the food your stealing.
No.Serving yourself at a buffet or taking from a cart that's sole purpose is to restock your room isn't theft.
It's 100% rude and inconsiderate much like not tipping or talking on speaker phone in front of a crowd but it's not some hard stance rule.
It's one of those it's an inferred courtesy but it's not theft
