Is this a "justified police shooting" or "handled poorly"?

So this is where we're at?
Clear body camera footage, and the family's response is:
"I think that officer should have handled it better. I don't think he should have fired, because you could see that he was drunk," Lamorio Freeman said.

Can you give a link as I cant see the video and I might can on the link.

(work thing)

Seems pretty justified from the footage (although I'd like to hear the audio). The guy reached for his gun.

Come on now.

Thanks but work still blocking.

Read the story and it sounds like the guy reached for a gun, if so then it was justified.
From the footage shown the news didn't give us audio until after the police officer fired, but the police officer had his gun drawn on the suspect and seemed to be communicating with him, then the suspect reached for his gun and the officer fired.

Yea that's sounds justified.

Once he reached for his gun the cop had no choice but to shoot.

The suspect reached for his gun.

/End of Discussion.

Also, anyone else think it was quite odd the policeman held the gun sideways?

Yea unless he was using it to point with.

Like "what's that there. (other guy)where. (Cop using gun hand to point) there"

Just going by the still I see in the thread.

Actually that makes a lot of sense to me. It was kind of pointed in the area of the guys weapon.

A little surprised the cop didn't kill him. Pretty charitable of the cop, actually.

Had a gun, reached for it, was shot but not killed, even after running away. Don't see anything wrong with that series of events.
