Like I remember hearing a comedian say how Bill Clinton had 1 hand on Monica's hair and the other one on the button(obviously it was a joke and funny). And then just the other day I was watching Joe Rogan's podcast and they were saying how it would crazy for any 1 person to have control over the button because what if that person were to lose their mind? Like Bruce Willis in Armageddon at the end had that thing in his hand where he pressed a button and it made the huge explosion. Obviously the kind of button I'm talking about is one that would take out all of Earth.
So my question is this, obviously if there is some sort of button, it's locked up in a vault or something and you have to have keys and/or codes to be able to use it. I realize that the button isn't going to be in plain site of the White House with random people walking past it everyday. So anyway, if the button is pressed does the whole world blow up from a nuclear explosion? Or gas that gets released in the air that there's no coming back from and just slowly kills everyone? Or is there a special armies on standby around the world that blows everything up with bombs right after they themselves take some kind of pill that the will all die within 24 hours? How does all this work?
And if there isn't a literally a physical button, does the button mean that basically the president or whoever has just the authority to set off nuclear bombs all over the world, which would actually mean that there are a bunch of buttons.
