Is there a real explanation why Mexican fighters are so hard to finish?

Brown Pride Cain’s chin was strong as shit for those 27 seconds in his last fight. Must be phylogeny.

Its more a narrative than fact. You would have to prove its even a verifiable thing before you could begin answering it.

Edit: I forgot this was sherdog. Objective analysis is a foreign concept lol.

Yeah ever seen them work? Mexican culture is rooted deep with warriors

Genes. People block that out because they confuse it with 'good/bad' or 'superior/inferior'. We're all the same as far as being human, but that doesn't mean we're all the same as far as ability.

I'm half Mexican and definitely have some of the fight characteristics. Big head hard as a rock, maybe 50% stronger than I look, good cardio, etc..

Andean phenotypes tend to be stalky rather than lanky, which helps with taking punishment. You'll see the same with Peruvian fighters, for instance, like Barzola, who are tough as almighty hell.

plenty of them have weak chins, Mexico probbaly has the most boxers of any country in the world. 99% of them are cans and we only recognize the best ones for having good chins. its a numbers game

Daily chili pepper consumption makes your chin tougher

Mexican don’t flexican

I think it has to do with all the avocado farming

Pride?????
pride?
I can appreciate the sarcasm...but I know many fighters with pride who have glass jaws.

Are you saying Mexican Pride is a different kind of Pride that keeps a man awake when a head kick slams their dome?

They're often malnourished to the extent they don't grow to their full adult height. So you end up with someone that has the bone thickness and organs of a 6' guy on a 5'5 skeleton. So you have a 205 lbers bone density fighting at 155 lbs and a heart that's meant to pump blood for 50 more lbs. Of course he's going to be super tough and have great cardio for 155 lbs.
