The UFC is in serious decline and they need new talent desperately
Yeah, their days of actively attacking or buying their competition are numbered, at least for a long while. However, I do feel like eventually one of these other shows with a bit of steam will follow the old UFC model and start doing it themselves. PFL already thinking about it.
True. Sadly, the grappling matches are there as well. Oh well, you need time to make food at some point.Their Muay Thai fights are some of the most entertaining fights in all of combat sports and it is very high level.
I kind of doubt that since the UFC doesn't have many events in Asia.
Don't think UFC can compete, anyways One Friday Fights is on!
Idk, the UFC was the big fish swallowing all of the smaller fish, that's why the fed stepped in. But if a small fish is in the pond with the big fish, and is swallowing other small fish, and the big fish isn't going anywhere, idk if there is ever threat of a monopoly. If it were a foreign company like ONE, idk that it would be in any danger as long as it wasn't just buying up US orgs. These other organizations might buy one organization...but will never be able to do it at the level the UFC did, because there will be eyes on that stuff now.
WEC, Strikeforce, PRIDE etc
Do you live in a country in Asia or regularly communicate with people in Asian countries? I ask cause if you dont how would you know how much advertising they do there? They don’t have to. They have the biggest TV deals, they best distribution, and they are the most well known and have an established fan base
In Asia One is basically Bellator. No one knows about it
I lived in Korea and did a lot of visits/ backpacking in other countriesDo you live in a country in Asia or regularly communicate with people in Asian countries? I ask cause if you dont how would you know how much advertising they do there?
The UFC might be the biggest promotion in Asia in that the UFC is the biggest promotion that happens to put on shows occasionally in Asian countries but I have a hard time believing they are more popular there than promotions that put on shows there far more often.

Bo is more well known by casuals in America than any champ in ONEThe way to get rid of One is to buy out their top talent but instead they sign Bo Nickal for god knows how much money and now have to sign other amateurs just so he has opponents to fight
